I am a marine geochemist, interested in the ocean processes that play a role in the climate system. I employ geochemical analytical techniques, particularly elemental and isotopic analysis (e.g. U-series isotopes, Sr, Li, Pb, and Nd isotopes), to understand the sources and sinks of trace elements in the ocean, and their potential uses as ocean tracers of climate-change related processes. I am also interested in understanding how natural processes (e.g. weathering) and systems (e.g. seagrasses) could provide a solution to climate change.
