My interest is in coastal hazards and extreme events. I use high-resolution numerical models to simulate and understand coastal interactions. During my Ph.D., I investigated wave-tide-surge interactions' impact on extreme coastal water level formation. Currently, my work aims to study SLR and windfarms' effects on bed-stress and ocean dynamics. I also study the impact of hypothetical pollutant dispersal scenarios nearshore. I'm interested in science policy and practical applications of research.
