The Natural Environment Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation, in partnership with the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) and Techniquest, Cardiff are providing a free weekend of family fun from 18–20 October.
‘Explore our planet’ – ‘Archwiliwch ein planed’ is an environmental science showcase based at Techniquest, and on the Royal Research Ship (RRS) James Cook which will be visiting Cardiff Bay for two days only.
The event will bring the world of environmental science to life for all and promises to be full of fun with hands-on interactive science attractions and in-person talks by the UK’s leading environmental scientists.
The event will include free, ticketed access to Techniquest and the RRS James Cook.
Visitors must book their free tickets in advance, both to visit Techniquest and to access the RRS James Cook, and it’s first come first served!
