The National Oceanography Centre will be joining 30 other exhibitors from across industry, government and academic institutions at the Insurance Modelling & Data Expose (IMDE) on 2 July. NOC will be showcasing the centre’s science and technology tools and knowledge that can be utilised to understand and mitigate the risks from coast to deep-ocean.
IMDE 2014 is being held at the ExCeL Centre, London in collaboration with the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) and the Understanding Risk Conference. NOC will be displaying capabilities in understanding submarine geohazards and seafloor infrastructure concerns, reducing coast and shelf sea vulnerability, understanding climate change, knowledge of sea states and how this affects trans-ocean shipping risks and risk management for underwater technology.
