Managing the Environmental Sustainability of the Offshore Energy Transition

MOET provides a holistic study of the environmental and social impacts resulting from the rapid expansion of offshore infrastructure associated with windfarms and subsurface storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2), driven by the UK’s energy transition to net zero emissions (net zero). MOET assess the environmental sustainability of offshore wind, blue and green hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage for selected test areas of the UK offshore.
